yes_redcarpetAnd I mean that in the most affectionate way possible.

How are you? I hope you’re very well indeed.

Welcome to the brand new, slightly fancier website… inside, you’ll find news of upcoming projects, videos of older ones, podcasts, and advice on modern dining etiquette.

Right now, I’m working on some new stuff – which I’ll tell you about soon (if you like). And hey – sign up to the mailing list while you’re here, and I’ll email you twelve times a day.

See you soon! I love you.

Thanks for the Yes phenomenon! Book still way better than the film…After reading your book it gave me the power to give up my boring well paid job in Yorkshire and move to Australia!…(to a low paid boring one!) Gee thanks!

  17. Amy Laura says:

Like many others I have read the books, its good to see there is optimism out there still even if the weather is a bit pants and there may be some pigflu issues around. Its not friday but I was just going to say, to anyone who happens to read this, You Look really Lovely today, that shirt brings out the colour of your eyes. Stay Rad.

  18. Leila says:

Morning King Danny, and a lovely one at that. I just received your latest email and thought I’d swing by and see what projects are in the pipeline and have a nice cuppa. Looks like your not home at the moment so I’ll cruise round again later. Gotta fly, look forward to hearing from ya. Leila

  19. Rian says:

Like the new look of this site. Quite impressive!

  20. james says:

I’m confused. Under ‘News’ it says: “2nd July 2009
Friends Like These in paperback”, but my wife bought me the paperback for Xmas 2008. Does this mean my copy is worth a huge amount on eBay? Should I keep it as a family heirloom? It is VERY funny (the book I mean).

  21. Kristina says:

Good morning, Danny! It looks very much like all your dates are in the UK. Is that because you’re afraid to get on an airplane? I think it’s safe. I think we’re not talking so much about “swine flu” now.

Also, ‘Yes Man’ is next in my queue (I missed it in theatres). I just have to watch ‘Ghost Town’ and send it back. And then ‘Yes Man.’ The book is a favorite of mine, and Jim Carrey doesn’t happen to be, so I approach it with some trepidation. But you seem to like the movie. So I’m looking forward to it.

Come back to America! Conquer something.

  22. steff worthington says:

Hey danny, Got a new project for you. A journey around the UK on National Express coaches visitng the unique and quaint locations in the British Isles (i work for them now).
Me, you, tv crew. Ok, maybe not the best idea…
Keep finding those ‘silly boy projects’!

  23. Hi, I read your column every Thursday, after my father showed me the one where you were talking about being out with one of your mates and he smelt after running to meet you and some girls… then he said something about washing his feet in the urinal. I swear on my mother AND fathers life i have never laughed so hard in my whole life. I almost peed my pants/knickers (added variation in case the first was too ‘Americanised’)… oops that was too much information wasn’t it!

    anywhooo… Bye.

  24. mark andrew hooton says:

Just reading you’re excellent new book ‘Friends Like These’. Congratulations on another fine piece of reading matter. I don’t often write comments on websites, but i was compelled to when i found out that one of my favourite writers has the same birthday as mine. I too am a 16th of November man, is that a wierd reason to write to you?

lovely book. hilarious. alive. very human.

  28. Matt Taylor says:

You know I love your books Danny and yes I’m looking forward to your future projects but please, stop emailing me so much, a couple of emails a day are fine just for a catch up but seriously when you ask how much I’m missing you when I emailed you back like 30 minutes ago is getting a little too much. Keep up the great work and yes I’ll sign up for your newsletter 🙂

  29. Ian Harrison says:

Just read about something called a “White Lady Hamburger” that you had whilst in new Zealand.

Unfortunatley this coincided with me finishing Yes Man!

Looking forward to the burger ( how long is the trip from Chatham in Kent)
